Internet explorer not loading :/

Now then… When I was browsing the Internet before I was hit by a virus. My pc then started to blue screen. After starting up in safe mode and doin a system restore I went to open Internet ex and it would not open I also tried safari and firefox. Now I have no other way of downloading a anti virus to get rid ofit completely. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Also suggestions of which free anti virus I should get would be great thanks

Indeed. In 2011, there is absolutely no excuse for using Internet Explorer. I don’t care what IE8/9 have, they are still not even remotely as secure as Opera/Chrome (even firefox is becoming a bit of a mess).
get a friend to write AV installation on a flash drive
then use hirens boot cd and start mini xp
install antivirus and check ur system
then reboot back in ur clean windows
obv, the best thing still would be to format ur windows partition so all shit is cleaned fo so

Why is chrome shit? I use firefox at work and home but recently installed chrome on my netbook. I was surprised how easy it is to work with. It’s also fast, not garbaged, there are some excellent extensions and the menu and navigation doesn’t eat up the whole screen.

webkit (seriously, a shit re), google tracking. if you’re up to date with the sheer amount of privacy issues (read: olol google sappan mah data) and privacy holes (read: olol anyone sappan mah data), you wouldn’t use it.

Well I don’t mind it since I already use google, android and a gmail account for mails. Privacy is something I cba to fight for because I would still lose the war even as much as I would try to avoid giving out personal stuff. If you have a deeper look inside the services of google or facebook then you just have to accept that they can track you no matter what you do.
