EDIT: nvm the solution was that tha windows 7 won’t charge the laptop if it is above 95%. fuck i feel like a retard. admins can lock.
Hi,
So usually when my battery is fully charged I remove it and am plugged into the wall. today I put the battery back in to go print something, and when i come back I plug the laptop back in and leave the battery in to give it a recharge (even though it only lost 3%).
when i mouse over the battery icon now it says 97% available (plugged in, not charging)
I already tried this: http://jeffreypalermo.com/blog/plugged-in-not-charging-windows-7-solution/ but it didn’t work.
Laptop is an Asus K52j, windowd 7 home premium x64, i3 M30 2.27, 4 gb ram. the laptop was bought new at the end of august, and the battery hasn’t been in the machine for around 24 hours at least as I haven’t gone anywhere with the laptop.
thanks.
