no sound in tf2 with headphones in

when i connect my headphones to either my PC or my speakers, i get either no sound, or its so quiet that when the volumes at max its barely audible.

obviously ive checked volume levels in-game and on my PC and stuff.

had this problem for a while now but could never be arsed to fix it. help pleeeeeeeease

U might want to plug them in the line out instead of the line in.

Sooooooooooooooo tf2 is still silent. -__________-

Completely silent now with headphones in or not, on my PC speakers or connected speakers. The settings seem fine, and theres nothing in any of my cfg files to do with audio :/

I’m gettin sick of gettin flanked by scoots who i can’t hear :(
