Which are better for the DA v1, the Razer or Windows drivers?

Razer drivers are actually pretty fine. The UI wants to be a bit too cool, but it doesn’t mess things up like Logitech SetPoint

And if there would be any difference I doubt you would notice it.

Don’t install the drivers. No need unless you want to change DPI or something.

Well, at the end of the day drivers are going to be installed to some extent, whether they’re PNP or not is what I’m wanting to know. I get the impression Razer actually have decent product support, what with all the firmware updates, even for discontinued products, so I’m really just wanting to know if their drivers are superior to the Windows PNP ones, or whether I shouldn’t bother. Do I need the software to set it to default to NDC/1000hz/max DPI?

Without Razer drivers my v1’s mouse4 and mouse5 wouldn’t work in mumble, so I use them anyway x)

Me: Hey, my Abyssus jitters like fuck. When are you going to fix it and can I have my money back or another mouse?
Razer: … (Did we receive this mail??? Errr…no, we certainly did not. Moving on…)

I didn’t put it exactly like that but this is what happened.

Bit arrogant to blame Razer right off the bat, where in fact the problem might just be on your end!

Well, I realize that it might come down to a single person not doing his job, so I can’t judge out the entire company based on it, but the jittering is a documented problem and admitting it would cost them dearly, both in money and reputation. They have every reason not to confront it. I would expect no less from someone with their business model. In addition, all my other mice work properly. Against this background it’s highly unlikely that it was due to some mishap in communication.
