Those who I’ve had to play against will know how bad my lag actually is (I’m looking at you, Pledge and Dummy) Even if I’m home alone, nobody else using the internet. I’ve double checked that only steam and tf2 are running yet I still get the shittiest connection ever.

I dont know what could be causing my lag. I’ve run a constant pingstat on cmd to check but it’s perfectly normal yet my in-game ping goes from 200-300. I have no loss, no choke, speeds are fine, etc. Net graph never goes beyond 80 (assuming I’m connected to a UK server which usually gives 30)

I’m starting to think a group of trained monkeys were sent to eat my internet so I can’t play TF2 ;_;

could be shaping if pinging the server yields ok results but the ping in game is bad.

scoreboard ping is calculated alongside updates, net_graph ping isn’t. this would support my theory that your packets are being shaped.

high ping won’t cause warping, there must be something else too.
