Topic name basicly.. I have no idea why.. I haven’t played since the halloween update.. maybe it’s not updated correctly yet how do you do that manually? I already deleted clientregistry.blob and even renewed my hud ..

EDIT(to make it more clear):
What happens is:
Team Fortress 2 will kind of open then close before reaching the menu or even a wallpaper from Team Fortress 2 but I can see the valve video, funny thing is also I can’t play CS:S I have the same problem there but CS 1.6 works.. so it might be something with hl2?

What I’ve tried but didn’t work:

– delete clientregistry.blob
– deleted all my launch options
– added -autoconfig to launch options
– was downloading a new game through steam had it paused thought
that might’ve caused it so I deleted the content of that game.
– I reset my modem+router
– Removed Steam from my computer(losing all my files and
intalled games) then reinstalled TF2 same problem still
occured.
– Verified integrity of game cache..
– Checked if antivirus or firewall isn’t blocking the game
– Updated videodrivers

Help! I want my TF2!

oye now deleted my launch options and i can see the vid from valve.. and then it quits..

edit: oh and just noticed cs:s won’t start either so it’s steam.. can it have something to do with a game that is paused on downloading?

ok tried to delete the game content I was downloading through steam and it’s deleted but still same problem must be steam.. somehow..

hm think I found the problem.. but how to fix it? I have my friendslist online but I can’t go to my own steamcommunitypage or of any of my friends steamcommunitypage .. not on steam or on my browser

get a friend to give you a push. then once your moving just ease off the clutch and it should bump start it.

I think it is cause in my folder team fortress 2/hl2/ there is no resource folder.. how to fix that?

Yes Spike Himself I know but CS:S didn’t work either and CS 1.6 does.. so that kinda means it’s something to do with hl2?
