Need some help, old pldx tool problem

I am using one of the older versions of teh PLDX tool. I am starting a new video and I needed to replace some skyboxes, so I deleted old ones put in new ones with http://www.pldx.com/blog.php/2010/04/skybox-replacement-tutorial/ now when I load up any demos in the PLDX I get no skyboxes, not even defaults. I get the purple and black squares for the entire sky…

Anyway, does anyone know how to help?

Also found I can’t create serer within the pldx tool as before, it crashes hl2, don’t know if this sheds any light on it. Always at teh loading rescources part.
