Right its now become a joke…..
Whilst im in-game i get random freeze’s, It can be when im in battle for just running around but it has become more frequent it is really starting to get on my wick. I have tryed fps configs and it doesnt stop them. Surely someone must of had the same problem and know how to fix it! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP MEEEE!!!!
Is that a total reinstall or just put the cd in to repair it?
I think I have the same problem, got it for two weeks now.
I get random freezes in rapid succession for small periods, usually a few periods in one game.
I use Windows XP it’s not bugging me that much (yet) but if any-one has some suggestions that would be nice. (Fps drops to sub 5 during the freezes.)
Same here, w7. Reinstall did not fix the problem for me… Try disabling your sounddevice. I have no freezes when sound is disabled…

np. it’s in my configs by default, so if anyone using my configs gets a similar issue it won’t be fixed by that command.

I also have random freezes but i’m using Chris config so thats not the problem. I have had it for 2 months maybe…
Format doesn’t help, reinstall steam/tf2 doesn’t help. So i have no fucking clue to solve it. I have friends who have similar problems so….
I added all your soundcommands to my config, Chris. I got the impression that the freezes are getting more rare but are still occuring in any steam game.
some people time out after joining a server, others suffer from freeze lags. funny enough that almost everybody with those similar problems report that they have them for some weeks/few months.
this game used to be less frustrating…
