Mumble - Overlay doesn't work in TF2 (or steam games)

When I run ANY other game that isn’t steam based, I have no problems with overlay at all, it works fine.
In any steam games, full screen or windowed, it just doesn’t show up.

Anyone have any idea? Cheers

Well that’s the only thing I noticed my self what could be the issue. I am using Win7 my self also and overlay did not work in dx10 games at all and/or did not work in all windowed games either. Full screen and dx9 works fine for me.
Windowed mode affected only some games, for example SC2 with windowed mode on works with the overlay fine.
