Steam ID was too long?

I had to remove the last two numbers of my ID in registration in order for it to allow me in? Will this keep me from getting my badge if i participate?
If the steam ID is not entered correct you are 1) not allowed to participate in any official ETF2L match and 2) your ETF2L account can not be related to your steam account => you won’t get a medal for participating.
Why did you remove the last two numerics in the first place?
Either way, you might want to contact an admin (IRC #etf2l @ quakenet, type !admin), I am sure he can sort your problem out.
The same thing happened to me, and now on my team page it doesn’t connect to my steam profile. I’m not quite sure what to do.
The only reason I removed the last two numerics was because it wouldn’t let me continue until I removed them. It only allowed steam ID’s in this format. X:X:XXXXXX Mine was like this X:X:XXXXXXXX It was eight long rather then six.
