Before telling me this: “get fps config”
I used fps cfg before, but this one is smooth and I like the graphs…But my tf2 keeps crashing all the time…
Maybe there are few setting, which can be changed in this config, without changing the looks(for example, I removed shadows).
I haven’t tried total tf2 re-install, but i will tomorrow(I keep only prec, cfg and hud).
So maybe someone who knows that kinda stuff, could take a look at it and help me out.
Cheers

Why? Putting them higher than tf2’s max wont harm net performance.
His interp is balls, but since he switched to demo I can understand.

if fps >100 there is no bad side at all

incorrect.

whats bad about sending more packets than server requests then?

Look into Source networking.
You open up a needless overhead which never gets used (specifically, there is overhead for 44 more packets than you will ever use). This in turn can cause various problems, not least because the way that TF2 gets packet data is like this:
send request for x packets for next n period of time (usually 1s) -> get y packets
not like this like you seem to think:
send request for x packets for next n period of time (usually 1s) -> server sends back “max 66/s” -> client adjusts parameters accordingly -> get x packets
when you create that overhead multiple networking parameters (note, parameters != cvars) are changed, and none of them are told that the server will only send 66 updates, not the 100 they expect, because the client is never told that information, this can cause various problems and uses up needless resources.
tl;dr overhead.
Pretty sure thats a slightly modded css config.
It still crashes my tf2..:( I will re-install my tf2 tomorrow, mayeb that will help
I heard that deleting /tf folder helps.
Just back-up maps,cfg & (if you’re using hud) scripts/resource folder.
Then start up tf2, it will take a while, creating folders etc, then it should launch without problems.
who said anything about startup probs..
he got old config with a command that crashes tf2 all the time
seen also on summer assembly, where lan was ruined for some, since they used old cfgs
imagine it as mp_decal 0 bug that was out there like year ago, when after update everyone with mp_decal 0 crashed, and everyone with mp_decal 1 and up didnt
took a while to find this
this isnt a lot different, its just that there has been a lot of updates and valve failed blacklist this cmd that keeps crushing tf2
