The status screen is just a proof that the people that play a match actually belong to the team which you´re playing with / against. So from my point of view, it actually doesn´t matter whether you take it at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of a match; the important thing is that everybody that participated in the match should show up on the status screen with his steam ID.

The sreenshots at the end of the map should actually show the result of the map, not more, not less. Maybe you just have a look at any random match from the right side of your ETF2L-Page, click on any “recent result” and have a look at the screenshot below each map they played – you´ll get the idea.
