Steam ID too long?

i tried to register my ID and it said i didnt do it right and yadda yadda yadda,
so i look at my ID and notice two extra numbers, not a bad thing so i just delete the last two
turns out the ID i posted isnt mine…the account listed doesnt even have its page set up
mine is:
but it appearntly was TOO LONG for the thing, if an admin or mod can change it in my profile i’d be thankful
EDIT: nvm it works now and redirects me to the proper page

Add it without the Steam_ part (so just the numbers, 0:X:XXXXXXX), that should do the trick

thanks i had tried to get it to work (i justed copy pastaed the whole steam ID line thing there for the hell of it)
