Nooby Question about ETF2L Matches

This is probably a really stupid question, but I honestly cant find the answer to it.
We have a match organised for the Highlander Ladder and I cant figure out where the match is taking place. We have a server, do we host it? The team we’re playing are turkish and dont speak english very well so trying to ask them was quite hard. He said something about playing on a ETF2L server?
Really confused, but if anyone could shine some light on it, Id be very much appeciative.

The match can be played on either your server, or the opponents’.
If they’re laggy on your server you should play one map on yours and one on theirs.
ETF2L servers are only used if neither team has a server.
In this case it sounds like your opponents don’t have a server, so you should just play on yours.
