Australia not in list for country selection?!?

I am from Australia, but cannot choose that as my country becuase it is not listed.
I wish to have the appropriate flag and such in my profile so I have left it blank for now.
Please fix this soon.

This is why we have an American flag. Because America has been in Europe for a long, long time now!

And now some part of the australian community (one person) plays here as well. I don’t see where are you going with this :D
My point is that with the whole this free medals thing, no wonder if etf2l becomes international medal give-away league. Now ups, go celebrate your birthday with your many friends and leave me alone. Oh wait..

This doesn’t, however mean, that you can deny people the right to select their country’s flag based on the argument that “their country is not part of Europe” just because we have an American flag. Eat-it, silverfox!

It’s a European league, the free medals goldrush will be dead in a couple of months and the “waaaaa I can’t have a flag :(((((((((((((” brigade will be long gone.
Personally, I see no need for any flags for countries outside of Europe which do not have players participating in the regular 6v6 seasons.

I’m sure if you went through the list of IPs and such you would find quite a few Australian members.
Also, I am actually decended from European royalty, so should I just chose the European flag?!?

surely you don’t have to live in australia to be australian.
i’d have thought the flag for your profile is to symbolise your nationality and not where you live, and i’m sure there’s many players in the league that live and play in England but are from some other country completely, would this mean they have to use the england (or UK) flag?
When you edit your profle it states…
“You may only enter your nationality once, so choose the right one.”
so it does imply it’s more of a nationality thing and not “where is your country of residence”
does seem a shame though having this come up because of the highlander comp, but suppose it is to be expected.
