i cannot enter my steamid

i put my steamid in the box and it gives me a format error… i am putting it in exactly right, what am i doing wrong?
You are not putting it in exactly right.
Should be: X:X:XXXXXX

does it matter which?
None of them.
You find your steamid by typing “status” in console ingame. Your steamid consists of numbers only.
