1)does the logitech mx518 work at it’s full capacity on a wooden desk? Or should I buy a mousemat for this? If so, wich one?
2)What’s the best cpu / ram I can get? i got 680i sli motherboard, 2gb corsair ballistix ram, 5750HD, E7200 CPU and 500W power supply. Want to have above 60 fps ALL the time on any map, no drops of fps.
Thanks in advance.
isnt mouse mat cheaper than buying new mouse every 2 weeks?

Who said I’m buying a new mouse every 2 weeks? oO It’s actually the first time i’m ever gonna buy a gaming mouse. Since iv’e played with crapmouses the entire time.
get a mousepad, for instance steelseries QCK, its gonna have traction u never experienced before
2 weeks cuz after 2 weeks you wont be able to slide it anymore since all glides will have fallen off and it will be like sliding a rock over table
okay, for the mx518 a steel or fabric mousepad?

Impossible!
Every update will give you 10 less fps and more random drops. vALVE likes to play with us.

Kk thanks.
u gonna need bios update to get the new cpu’s working tho
or just browse OC forums to see if ur current cpu can be OC to >3ghz, if so, that should give u stable 60fps

hmm ok, i’ll figure it out I guess
mx518+steelseries qck=win
I use a mx500 on a wooden desk without any issues (neglecting my own inability to aim, which I doubt is affected by the mouse/desk situation).
