Wow really emotional ending, at least for me. Cried like a little girl
Watched it with all my closest friends, we actually all dressed up as our favourite LOST characters, got dharma beer, BBQ ETC. Had some drinking games, got a load of photos taken, theorized etc.
We’ve watched the show together since it first aired, just as we all became friends, so the ending of this is more significant to us than it would be for others because, in september were are going our separate ways in life really (university).
We watched the finale, and I can tell you right here that the only reason I didn’t cry like a little bitch is because I didn’t want to cry infront of my friends, but all of us were on the verge of tears really. All of us loved and understood the finale, tbh those who don’t like it are either people who just picked up the show and haven’t invested 6 years in it, or didn’t understand the ending. Or maybe you just wanted to see a 1 hour showdown between flocke and jack..Not gonna happen, thats not lost you see. I’m so happy with this ending, couldn’t have asked for anything better to finish a show I’ve loved since day one.

After a dissapointing final of the serie ‘lost’……. I proudly present:
Jack Bauer VS Chuck Norris
24 season 8 final double episode: E23 and E24 OUT NOAW!!
I really enjoyed the ending :-). A very beautifull emotional closure to LOST even though not a factual closure as theres oboviously loads of questions still around, but that is the lost im afraid :).
The symmetry at the very end was awesome as well, lost starts with jacks eye opening as he lies on the floor. Lost ends with jack lying on the floor and his eye closes.
The bit where vincent lies down next to him as he dies was a tearjearker :D, i guess its a nice way of saying no one should die alone, and then in the alternate timeline/fantasy world you are again not alone in death you move on together.
I still want to know where the dharma supply drops came from :>

why did the rocks suddenly turn into styrofoam in the last episode, didnt make any sense at all.
Tapley the dharma drops came from dharma but they arrived on the island late even though it was on time for the pilots, because time outside of the island is different, like faraday explained.

Am I really the only person on here who thought the ending was fucking terrible? Really poor finish to what was a great storyline, fuck all questions answered and the final scenes…grats on hiring a 5 year old girl to write them.

You can get on the island by boat or plane if you follow the correct bearing, but the dharma had the station that they could track back in season 3, thats how they knew where to drop. They also had the lampost.
