Wow… considering the theme, story and the message that the series wanted to give, I think the ending was perfect. Although I can imagine the ending a letdown for people who don’t fully understand what’s happening, I don’t really see how it could end any other way.
Ending something like Lost was always going to be difficult since with all things in Lost, some get it some don’t
I think people took it the wrong way in Lost has never really been about answers it has been about following the characters, sure some answers come with this but others won’t
I’d like to explain it to the ones that feel disappointed but it’s like trying to explain an optical illusion, if I explain it you will see it but it won’t have the same effect as it did on someone that saw it straight away.

I cant believe i followed this shit for 5 years! Shitty fucking ending, what about all the unanswered questions, numbers, polarbears, all the strange people, i know theyve covered some bits but i was really expecting it to be more clear towards then end. That they’d explain more… no..no..
im pissed off!
Ending was poignant, anyone who was expecting an A to Z of answers just get out :D

Seriously, I loved the finale. Great ending for a great show.
Vazzan got it right. Loved it, every second of it. This was a perfect ending for a show like this; if you expected to know the reasoning and explanations about everything that happened in the past 6 seasons after just 2 hours, think again.
Lost was awesome, watched it since September 2009 and cought up quickly to the point where I was following it “live” instead of on dvd’s. Loved the show, it’s a shame it’s all over.
Just one thing I missed during the finale … Michael and Walt didnt make an appearance. And that annoyed me :( I know Michael got killed on the freighter in the S4 finale (iirc) , but Shanon and Boone were deceased as well. Meh :(

Michael is one of the whispers that still inhabit the island apparently, still stuck in limbo/purgatory.
Just watched the finale and I’m completley feelingless toward it. On the one hand it summed everything up in a nice little package which even with plot holes and confusion is a sizeable task in itself granted the scope of lost, on the other hand I have absolutley no idea where the ribbon and packaging emerged from to create this package.
