Hey people,
Can anyone suggest some decent quality cheap headset???
I bassically just need a headset to last me until i40 so I don’t want to spend much!
Any ideas??

Lasted me a good year and a half before I got my razer piranha, and at £10 you cant go wrong.

Strange, exactly the same, I got that because it was cheap and then a razer piranha for christmas or something. Its pretty standard, never going to score highly in any tests, but it works.
I was using that headset inbetween my old pair dying and getting my current pair (Creative HS-950), apparently (people kept on commenting on it) the mic quality is superb, but it was painful as fuck on my humongous ears.

the hs-950s are the model down from the fatal1ty, and I actually prefer them over it (better sound and mic quality IMO). and they’re cheaper too, so you can’t lose there.

imo fatal1ty headset is overrated. I did have one (it broke obviously) and bought the Steelseries 5Hv2, which is reaaally awesome :D The sound and mic on the fatal1ty are pretty good, I agree, but it doesn’t cover the whole ear conch and after a time, it hurts, epecially for people who wear glasses…
Don’t really know any cheap headsets though..

This one is great for me, despite the microsoft tag. Its a USB headset, with separate controls for the mic and the headphones. I play with it around my neck, choosing to play the sound through my speakers and use this for the mic. Really clear, great quality, and sensitive enough that if its on the floor and I cba to pick it up, I can still play tf2 and be heard well. :p

Well the 5Hv2 is obviously better but the OP is looking for something cheap.
