My guess:
– he already has a key
– quit his dayjob in order to become pro
– until then he askes everyone for a key and sells these on ebay in order to make a living

Blizz sent out 2 keys a person for those in the beta this morning. Now is a good time to bug your friends.
(Or you could just pre-order the EU version from some random website, and cancel it).
