Ears?
I dont know what you guys are on about, you make it sound as if you’ve never used TS3.
I will admit that TS2 was the biggest pile of crap ever to have graced VOIP programes.
However TS3 uses less bandwidth than mumble (which lags my game) and sounds superior. Ii also think the response time is on par with mumble if not better.
I would recommend it, give it an actual try rather than judging it by TS’s previous failures.

Ye its not very good, either you can make it so people who are far away are quiet, but sometimes too quiet. Or you can make it so there’s almost no effect. I think it’s a great idea but they haven’t got it locked down yet.

This from the guy who prefers vent over mumble … everything you say will henceforth be ignored.

Well I’ve just setup a TS3 server for a friends HoN team so I might be able to put the bandwidth arguement to rest. However from what I’ve seen so far, TS3 definately seems to be on a level where the discussion between which is the best is entirely opinion.
Its definately worth a look, but personally I’ll be sticking with mumble 1.2.

WITCH HUNT BURN BURN BURN
Thought I’d add.
TS3 is DEFINATELY more bandwidth heavy than mumble. Not by a significant amount, but its still notable.
