quakelive just won’t launch atm, it gets to a black/grey screen and crashes firefox, it was working 2days ago though :( anyone got this/know a fix? :@
I use Internet Explorer… Try it!
Reset your configs
If that don’t work, delete all your local content and redownload
If that don’t work reinstall the plugin
If that don’t work try IE
If that don’t work you’re fucked
Fatal error: Core extraction failed
that’s the error i get with IE
reinstalled quakelive and reinstalled firefox, neither fixed. halp
If you are running IE7 or IE8 under Vista or Windows 7 and receiving a Core Extraction Failed error, please disable ‘Protected Mode’.
1.) In Internet Explorer click on ‘Tools’ and select ‘Internet Options’
2.) On the ‘Security Tab’, uncheck ‘Enable Protected Mode’
3.) Click Apply and close all Internet Explorer browser windows.
4.) Open IE8* and navigate to the QUAKE LIVE website, login and play.* Please be sure that you are running windows with a user account that has Administrative privileges.
