that rifle is shockingly bad. go find one with like 150 damage and a bigger clip. i’m pretty sure my sniper did at least 120 per shot. i never used tj bahas wifes gun. it only had 3 shots in the clip or summing rubbish.
i know the boss you mean he is pretty hard. i found buying huge amounts of high damage grenades and a handful of elemental revolvers pretty helpful. repeaters suck compared to revolvers

Well i got to level 48 now. Thought it was to easy tbh, playthrough 2 is much much better.
just check the levels: 1/2 levels still mean a lot… if you proceed too much underleveled youre gonna get instakilled by any monster above you (for instance at the entrance of sledge’s area there is a lvl 17 motherfucker which removes your shields instantly as long as youre not around 17 yourself
Vlad, that Rage Roid Psycho disgusting guy, if you’re having lots of problems with him, then go forward to the fence, and shoot him, that’s what I did, he stood completely still and ate the headshots..
The game is really easy to be honest, your gun sucks though so that is probably the reason. Sniper rifles in general are pretty bad, not only do revolvers have a faster fire rate and a bigger clip as long as you find the right one, but they also seem to level up faster (I’ve definitely killed more stuff with sniper rifles because I’m stubborn and kill all the shit enemies with it for added challenge, yet my pistol proficiency is consistently 5-7 levels higher). There’s also an abundance of scoped one’s and even disregarding the fire rate difference they seem to have competitive damage outputs. Really I have not met a single bunch of enemies or a boss that wouldn’t have been easy pickings with whatever revolver I was carrying at the time.
There are some sick repeaters out there too, I found burst-fire one with explosive damage at about lvl10 or something that ripped the shit out of anything I met until around lvl30. Don’t get fooled by the damage, the speed often makes up for it.
I found 200dmg revolver on lvl 13 (2 clip size), and 40dmg very fast repeater on lvl 10 (25 clip size), and dont change until lvl 35 (i found 200dmg revolver with 3 clip size ;d).

Not true , as long as you’re not more than 2-3 levels below the monster , you should be able to fight him. Btw , i finished that stage with nothing more in my inventory than a 150 damage dealing sniper rifle (as siren) , so that stage is easy as fuck with normal weapons.
As siren the whole game was so easy its untrue (leveled up the elemental line). Got a fire smg and a fire revolver, got the +52% burn damage class upgrade and nothing was a problem, with a super fast recharge shield phase walk means you never die. ever. I have 1150 shield and it recharges fully during a phase walk. I played the sniper in co-op till level 15, with elemental sniper rifles, especially ones with 3X or 4X elemental chance you never need many shots on target.
Your game is bugged. Even with such shitty rifle (I got a 250dmg with 9 bullets and 1.8 fire rate at level 12) enemies shouldnt take more that TWO headshots, if youre playing alone. With my rifle I still instagib everyone with a crit (not baddass’ ofc) and I’m around level 27 now. Try reinstaling, or maybe staqrting a new game idk.
