Few questions about windows 7

feels good to be on Windows 7….whole experience has been alot better then when i tried vista..and quickly went back to XP.
enuff of XP alrdy, time to move on!
cant work out why, but windows 7 has killed my download speed and upped my ping drastically – i used to get around 4 meg download now im lucky to get half a meg, ping wise i used to get around 20-40 on UK servers now i get 50-60 and its just unplayable on german servers
i have done some research on this and i dont seem to be the only one with the same problem.
apart from that – windows 7 is indeed awesome
ps. this isnt a problem with my router/connection – my brothers and dads is fine as mine was before i had win7
Um, that’s kind of the same thing with me. I just figured it was because I changed my internet. I ping around 65 on UK servers and 70-80 on european servers.
My download speed is fine, though.
Is it worth to spend money on?
Is it really better perfermance wise , and in general – better than vista?
Any downsides to windows 7 that you know of?
Does it improve performance in games , especially tf2? (someone told me)
Windows 7 is same Windows Vista but without bug’s, errors and also Windows 7 is much faster than Vista and it’s not using so much memory like Vista. On my netbook where’s Windows Vista, i haved to play in WoW with 5-10 fps :< , when i installed cracked windows 7 on it, i were very impressed. My fps improved up to 30-40. In deep past Microsoft worked on Windows 7, but when they saw, that other corporations/they competitors, publiced live new Window's, Microsoft corporation publiced they'r unfinished project and named it Windows Vista.
So, Windows 7 same Vista, but without bugs, errors and also i heard that Windows Vista user's will be able to upgrade they system to Windows 7 and all information that is on your computer won't fade ^^ . And i forgot to mention, it won't cost to expensive for upgrading Vista to 7 . For example, Windows 7 costs 100$, you'll be able to upgrade your vista only for 50$.

See if you got any sidebar objects that would use the internet – they can use up a fair bit of your bandwidth (and RAM as well)
XP > Vista < Win7 :p
those who own vista, they are actually “owned” by vista :D

Well , i have vista atm , and i think anything is better than vista. It’s really slow even tho my rig is good + the “explorer.exe has stopped working” error shows up everytime i want to do something and not once , oh no , hundreds of times a day and it restarts everything.
I would even be happy if w7 = vista , but without the bugs and slow’ness!

On that system it shouldn’t be that as slow as you’re making out mate.
when was the last time you reformatted? Probably a cheaper alternative.
Haven’t ever reformated.
I still have the installation disc tho. Is re-installing and reformating the same thing? (:D)

Well no, you’ll still be running Vista but it will be a bit faster for you being a fresh install.

got them disabled – cant stand widgets on my desktop =p
