Every time I launch steam it says Steam Platform Updating and spends between 5-10 downloading. Sometime it will freeze and needs to be restarted. This only started a week ago. Anyone have any ideas?

Unplug your internet cable so that it forces Steam to load up in offline mode. Then plug it back in again and change back to online mode. That should sort your problem.

This worked. Won’t remember my password after 4 restarts but i can life with it.
