you can tunnel it. I can explain you if you need but you won’t have nice pings for sure m8

I do know it is possible to get Steam to work in a blocked network without having the system admins open ports. It’s a long process, and when I helped the person set it up, they didn’t play multiplayer games, so I have no idea of how your ping will be.

But be aware they probably won’t like you doing it, and if they catch you doing it they might get pissy. The other option you have is buying a 3g card and using that for games only :3

Tunneling is likely heading towards impossible as PuTTY does not tunnel UDP packets, only TCP. I had mixed success using some proxying services (not SSH) to tunnel Team Speak, but no luck tunelling Battlefield when I tried that.

If it’s Trinity, they’re pricks and won’t open ports necessary for Steam. If it’s UCD, then I haven’t a clue. GL!
I heard it was possible to get it working in Trinity somehow…
