I’m confused.
11 fps?
lol dude….
Really cool! Could you post some specs on the comp your running it on and how you did it (wine, virtualization or whatever)? I’ve tried that once (with wine) but never got tf2 to run. Although that might be because i run gentoo and not ubuntu… everything’s a bit harder then.
Great work Animal!
congratulations you just followed an useless tutorial.
the ps3 allows you to install linux……this gives me a cunning plan!!
there’s no 3d acceleration on linux for ps3 :(

Just Wine or something less open/free? :)

wine doors and 3 mouse clicks…
a) fullscreen doesnt work (crashes)
b) mat_queue -1 doesnt work well, you will have to use only one core to get usable fps
c) so fps isnt great at all… ~60-80fps top (on my xp its ~120-250) :]]
Nice, I got it to work before on my laptop but it didn’t register mouse input correctly.
Ye I got it to run before as well (WINE) and the performance wasnt very different for me (but noticeable) but the motd not working properly and some menus spazzing out kind of annoyed me.
