I would vote YES, only I went back to University in the UK this week, so I miss out!
Fuck those free staters, they left us to rot up north with all these Brits!
When Ireland was booming, they voted no.
Now they are fucked, they will vote yes in the hope they get charity.

Yes, unfortunately. Our government DIDN’T take referendum on it as it was quite obvious that this country would unanimously vote NO. Also, by the looks of the way its going, the SNP (scottish national party) will get a big enough percentage this year to put through a referendum on independance. They won at the last election but had less than 50% of the seats. By the looks of it, the opinions of people here are being pushed away by Labour and pulled by the SNP.
I.E. Scotland could be independant within 10 years and we probably won’t be in the EU.
