ya just read the comments on the site
i had some problems too
normaly hardwarecheck just takes some seconds
i had to turn off firewall and open it in internet explorer

reinstall java helped and the hardware scan was over in some secs
now lets hope I dont get the key, or my TF2 skill will suffer a lot

just lie, i also put myself as being female!
i changed my browser and it worked immediately for me
was using ff then changed to ie
only 15 tries? Good Job!
Because for me it took about 29 tries :D
4th try :D.2 tries on Firefox and 2 tries on Internet Explorer :DD
If the game is as buggy as the website, I’m quite sure I don’t even want to be part of the beta.
lucas arts + bioware = WIN
I can agree on the Bioware part, not to sure about Lucas Arts tbh (tho it seems they rediscovered all their “not-star-wars-related” stuff).
I’d sign up, but the site keeps redirecting me to previous pages (eg from hardware scan all the way back to the license agreement)
just register an account without participating in the beta. and then after you logged in sign up for the beta.
That’s exactly what I did baerbel, it still threw me back to previous pages.
Both in IE and FF.
Much better starwars game ;)
Allthoguh I will be also be signing up for this beta :D
Yes I guess no way for playing Jedi^^
But getting access to the beta anyway will be like a Royal Flush :D
