if you are, what mouse did you replace your copper with, are you happy with it and how long it took you to get used to it?
this old buddy I bought back in feb 07 is starting to fall apart (already had to apply “RAZER CUSTOM WIRE FIX LOL” http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/7919/dsc00316hfi.jpg cuz of the blackouts during play, not mentioning fucked up right and side button and not-so-rare skipping)
so I’m looking for a suitable replacement which wouldn’t mess up my aim for too long
G5
had it for 8 months and no problems
genmix:
idk, I felt like “moving on”
I mean the model itself is ages old now, I was hoping that newer models like lachesis or DA might have some ergonomics/sensor/buttons/material/whatever improvements
not saying that old does necessarily have to equal bad but you get my point
ye had two copperheads
after that i changed to to logitech g5 and ye…what can i say im quiet happy
best qualitiy u can get
still using mine. Div 1 players love using it @ lan.
tru story… It even enhances your night rest after using.
Its been proven !
Don’t get G5. The wire WILL get fucked up eventually and the mouse will keep resetting. In the last ~2 months, mine, Shintaz’s and Pure’s G5s died. I’d say get a Deathadder or an MX518.
I used a wheel mouse optical and ie 3.0 for 5 or so years before trying the copperhead. It was a good mouse, but when I made the switch to low sens it skipped frequently. Bought the deathadder and haven’t looked back, tracks perfectly and fits my hand well.
MX518/DA are considered to have the best optics so try them both out, either through a friend or in some stores, because how they feel to you is most important.
<3 copperhead
my second by now
