Hello everyone, so i came with a question about crashing out.
Here’s my story. I’m lauching TF2, then going connect to a server(to play 6v6 war) and after hour(sometimes after few mins) i’m starting lagging as hell. What you think about this problem?
Also my net is not shit: 100Mbps
Sometimes my ping is just going up till 999, but i’m not crashing, just pinging as hell. But sometimes i’m crashing, losing connection with net.
Have you tried playing other games like css(god forbid) and does this happen in this game also?
I’d try running a virus and anti spyware scan also as there may be a process which enables it self and fudges up your connection.
In L4D it’s was same thing too, but i have played few times and it was okey. In css dunno, in COD 4 no.
I was trying to scan with many programs, like Anti-virus(NOD 32), Spybot – Search & Destroy, Uniblue and more….
Does it crash at about an exact time? maybe an update running in background everyday maybe AVG or so ?
Maybe it will help if i will choose download region?

What operating system are you on, and what are your PC specs?
As I just switched over to windows 7 RTM and I experienced issues somewhat similar to yours.
I had to tweak my rates (increased cmdrate/update rate) and cap my fps, aswell as stop hard drive indexing and stop the “Windows Media Player Network Sharing” service before my lag/performance problems went away.
