Opinions? Sounds amazing to me since I love my mx518.

Was interested at first, then I saw it’s a laser mouse.
Should be interesting for those who are not low sens.

Is laser inherently bad for low sens and high dpi? :(

Why switch if you love your MX518?

Probably true for last generation laser mice, current generation (Razer Mamba, Steelseries Xai and Logitech G500), probably not.
fRoD from Evil Geniuses had a long comment regarding current Lasers vs. Optical perhaps worth listening to (forward to ~3.42 @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKO4kmakzLY).

It’s getting kinda worn out :P I’ve had it for 4 or 5 years I believe.

Haha, you believe that. They are trying to sell a product.
Trust me, none of this guys except for MMO and race game players that are sponsored by SteelSeries will use this mouse ;) They just stick to their lovely optical and infra-red mouse :D

I’ve made my experience with laser mice, don’t know about the latest generation though, but I’ll stick to optical.
After broken MX518 and a woren out Lachesis, I bought a fuuken mouse called Manta ( It’s translated as “stuff” in latvian… ) It’s cool for the latest 2 years I’ve been playing and even though it hasn’t got the looks of Seinheizer or Razer and haven’t got extra weight corrector or extra buttons, which can get the game fuuked up sometimes, if you have bound something on it, I’m playing with it and haven’t regreat a day. Btw, it cost 7 Euros in the closest Supermarket :))
