Well, the razer lachesis I’ve had for about a year and a half now has messed up.
It skips like mad on both a razer exactmat (speed + control) and a razer destructor.
On my wooden desk, it’s not too bad at all, but it’s not comfortable to play.

Now I need a bit of advice on what to do here. I can send the mouse in, but I’d have nothing decent for like a month, they might not repair it at all, and the mouse skates are pretty much completely gone on the front side.
The positive and negative of buying a new one is obvious…
Could anyone tell me if the mouse skates being worn out would ruin my brand new mousemat? If so I’m getting a new one for sure.

EDIT: Added a pic, as you can see, you can’t see the skates anymore so they don’t touch the mousemat :(

you can’t really say which mouse is the best, as you got the feel comfortable with it.

ofc there are these allrounder mice, like g5/7, razer copperhead/lachesis, steelseries ikathingy […]
I would suggest go to some shop if possible and touch them.

my personal favourites are Logitech MX1000 (old stuff :D) & Razer copperhead

btw: DON’T even think about posting anything related to my pic.

I’ve been using the lachesis for 4 months and I have to say that this mouse is made to tear your fucking eyeballs out.It started to skip after 2 months and then is stopped and now it is skipping again.It only stops skipping when you bash the shit out of it or you just unplug it and plug it again a couple of times.I don’t know if your worn-out skates will ruin you mouse pad.Can you upload a better picture of your skates because I can’t see shit on this one.What mouse pad are you using at the moment?

tbh if u like the lachesis then id highly recommend u get a deathadder if u need a new mouse.

or u can buy a set of new skates, duno who has any for the lachesis =[

However I guess exactmat may be “damaged”, at least mine is although my mouse is in a better condition than yours, it still got it’s feet to run around.
