Sniper Settings

Hello you snipers out there, i was just thinking about how other people like to play.
My self i rather paly with:
Crosshair: Default
Viewmodel_fov 54 (or 0)
Sens: Low
i bet there is alot more settings to fill in,
Feel free to reply and tell me about what u think
take the dot as xhair, small, so it fits into the dot afterwards. A bit darker than the team’s color you are in. low to mid sens. tried no viewmodel for a bit, but dunno. 60 usually.
r_drawviewmodel 0 on the rifle and smg;
small, green circle (3) crosshair;
zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0.635
sens 0.7 @1800 dpi or roughly 40cm/360
it really makes dick all difference though, you’re better off practicing your nuts off to be a good sniper rather than ctrl+c’ing some pro’s config. same with anything.

What do i put in config to get it on just smg and sniper ?
Crosshair; Smallest, White, Dot.
Sensitivity; 5.50 with intellimouse 3.0 (450 dpi?).

depends which version, it seems there are some models with 400 and some with 450. you can test by setting sensitivity to 4 and then measuring cm/360.
if it’s 23ish then it’s 450 if it’s26ish then it’s 400.
I always put my interp back to 0.1 while sniping, makes hitting a lot easier. Might just be in my head though. A lot of things are in my head I think.

i also have this in my sniper cfg
Crosshair: None
Sensitivity: 4.5 with Razer Deathadder mouse (1800 dpi).
viewmodel_fov: 65
Crosshair: Default (<3 that one i use it for spy to ^^)
Sensitivity: Same as always 3ingame, 800 DPI and default windows options
Im trying out that interp thing a lil and it doesnt seem to make that big a difference :s just makes it looks like theres a delay after you kill them :S
