how can i change the colour of the >’s around names in mIRC?

background is supposedly 50% transparent, but it doesn’t seem to cop on that I’m not always running the terminal directly on top of the desktop…

Gnome-terminal transparency is faux transparency, it just draws your desktop behind the text :( Do you game from Linux too?

yeah, I’ve realised it does that, so it’s only slightly fancier than having a plain image as a background. And nah, I keep linux for working… steam barely works in wine, I’m not sure I want to try TF2. : p
