WIP Logo for team, Thoughts?

I started working on this: http://imgur.com/gEBiOYv as an emblem for my 6v6 team “Hale’s Own”, how is it going? Any ideas on how I could improve it? (Aside from finishing it :P)

Add shadows, put a darker background, maybe the team name or something?

Yeah, the hat is coming. Didn’t notice the hand though, that escaped me for some reason :P
