Hello fellow videogamer friends Kappa//
I played for around 5 years with a 60 hz gaming-notebook and now i’m sick and tired of it. The desire to have a real pc like everyone else is just to stronk. xd
I really dont mind buying a “complete” pc or is it cheaper to buy the parts seperate? (im not a building expert btw). Highest amount of money i can spend is 2k euro. I heard there are pc’s for 1k euro which are great. Also i need a new monitor, would prefer a 144hz. I don’t need a mouse. About the keyboard i was thinking about that one: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-k70-rgb-fully-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-anodized-black-cherry-mx-red
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,

check out tf.tv, they are usually more helpful. http://teamfortress.tv/thread/12714/pc-build-thread/?page=8#382
or just hope setsul sees this thread
standard office keyboard is fine, no need for 170€ one, get a mouse that feels comfortable and doesnt break immediately, and for 1k you can get an absolutely great pc, buy the parts seperately, cant say anything about 144hz or 120hz because i never used one but i heard they help
I would seriously recommend you to buy mechanical keyboard because the feel of it is just amazing when you switch from standard keyboard. Also 120hz or 144hz is great, try looking at some benq or asus

benq xl2411z

this.
although mechanical keyboards aren’t a neccesisity, its definitely a nice thing to have.
I have http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/keyboards/quickfiretk/ , its one of the cheapest mechanical keyboards out there and atleast I found it to be insanely nice. :)
These two sites were amazing when I built my PC.

I’m here.
Yes it’s cheaper to buy the parts seperately, building is fairly easy.
1k-2k€ budget is probably more than you’ll need, even with peripherals included.
Is the pc only for TF2 or other games aswell? If yes, which games and how many fps at what quality do you want? Something along the lines of “120 fps in Bioshock Infinite @ ultra quality would be great” would help me a lot to figure out how much power you actually need. No need to go overkill and spend 2k.
BenQ Xl2411Z hands down if you 120/144Hz monitors with lightboost. Without lightboost it’s a different story.
I’d definitely recommend a mechanical keyboard, but unless you want that RGB lighting gimmick stay away from corsair. It’s just overpriced and uses some non-standard keys that are almost impossible to replace. You can get better keyboards for less. E.g. various Ducky Shine, Das Keyboard and KBC Poker models or even a Filco Majestouch 2.
May I assume you’re going to buy everything in Germany and not in Japan?

shhh. xd
Made my PC here http://agando-shop.de
I made a €800 PC with SSD & HDD, Possible to overclock cuz of custom CPU fan.
Only mistake I made was that I should’ve bought a better processor. Can run anygame 60 fps+ on high settings
Talked to him on Steam, we’re done here, everyone can go home now.
Anakin I looked at it saw that they have a “only AMD gpus with AMD cpus and only Nvidia gpus with intel cpus” design philosophy. Then I saw the PC with an i7-4790 and 2GB RAM and got an aneurysm.

Would you share the config you suggested?
