You’re not allowed to use this, it’s against DH’s rules.

its against the rules of dreamhack
Boost wasn’t illegal due to the ledge, pixelwalking is not banned in DHW 2014 Rules.
Boost however is considered illegal as it allows you to see through a wall into T Spawn; but that is something fnatic claims ignorance of and nobody was aware of until after the match was played.

Overpass has to be replayed completely. LDLC was 13-3 ahead when this started and DH just robs them of that completely. Nice and fair.
Also allegations of massive bias/unfair ruling:

It looked like some kind of pixelwalking/edgebugging since the guy was sitting on top of nothing and a teammate was sitting on him but I dont know shit about that since I barely even play or know anything about the game. In my opinion overpass seems like enough CT-based that this bug just makes it even harder for T’s to play, especially when from that place you could see pretty much everything and for T’s it seemed really hard or almost impossible to shoot the guy who is boosted since you can barely even see his head. If that boost is allowed in future then matches in overpass might start relying almost only on which team starts as CT since it can get you easy rounds and crushing enemies economy completely, also spectator-wise matches where one guy is sitting in a place where he can see everything from with autosniper seem kinda boring, I would rather see intense match with sick clutch moments and all that. When Fnatic was getting rounds with boost and audience was cheering and you could you see LCLD guys after the rounds looking so crushed and sad I felt that I was watching retarded people getting punched and people cheering like OOOHHH SO EASY. I dont have anything against people who act with bad sportsmanship, its ok if you just want to win and you’re fine with people thinking how much of a cunt you are but this seemed a lot more than just bad sportsmanship, if its not forbidden in any of the rules at the moment maybe people should stop focusing on saying that and focus on thinking if that spot is fine or does it actually even bring anything interesting in the game except easy rounds for CT and make a rule for that one individual spot for example.

If it so, it’s a stupid rule. But in that case it should be rematched.
It’s like when you were able to put stickies on blands below the mid point and potentially get a 6k while the other team was capping because of the bug explosion. Was that unfair? No, because every team knew that spot and could use/check it

This wasn’t common knowledge though. They kept this particular spot secret for 2 months including getting others to remove videos of it so they could keep it for themselves.

I don’t know if that’s meant to be countering what I said or agreeing since that link definitely seems to be agreeing?

I mean, if one team boosts on one half and that requires that half to be replayed; surely the fact LDLC used a boost on the other half means that half has to be played as well?
Sure LDLC’s boost was nowhere near as gamebreaking but from an admining standpoint that’s how I’d look at it.
Maybe I’d just be a NaziHitlerAdmin and should never be allowed to admin anything.

There is always a first time, it’s the advantage of figuring out something that was never discovered before.
Are there proofs about them forcing to remove the video?

Only claims from the guy who made the video.
I can’t find the link at the moment but it was being discussed on: http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive
Even if the match wasn’t replayed, it’s still a disgrace and a cunt move. Using a boost which allows you to see over half of the map and spam t’s in their very own spawn as their only chance of winning the map is pathetic. LDLC used a legit boost developed by Anders himself and it lets you to wallbang someone going into the picnic area and only for a split second. And if even pros were disguisted – you know shit got real.
“The players and the manager may have not made this call, but management from Fnatic after seeing their PR burn to ashes.”
I was about to say that fnatic got some respect back (even tho not all of it), but the decision wasnt even the players or manager’s lmao
