No, both VoD storage and copyright protection decisions were their own, admittedly made in order to appeal to potential buyers. Pretty sure Amazon is not in a position comfortable to revert them.

I wouldn’t expect Amazon to remove the content ID measures Twitch implemented. If anything, they may add video recognition to them.

They might reduce the mute window down from 30 minutes to something reasonable (5 minutes? maybe 2?), if people make enough of a fuss. Amazon seems to really care about customer satisfaction in all other fields they do business in, so getting them to listen should be doable.
