Now on youtube. Really well made IMO, might even show it to a few people who don’t know why I spend so much time on the PC.
Great movie! Not necessarily a deep look at Dota, but it kept me watching for the whole hour.
Some misleading stuff was also featured.
For example, all the people walking inside the building are in the GAME CONVENTION, not necessarily there to watch DOTA.
Also, even if e-sports is big in Asia, it still isn’t _that_ massive. Best baseball players, actors and k-poppers are more popular in many ways, including Googletrends.
The people involved in the movie seem to be nice, not narcissistic assholes with a massive e-penis.

The history of one tournament
P.S. Just turn subs
I’m going to sound salty, but the movie is nothing more than just a promotional video for DoTA.
The message they’re trying to convey is that gaming is an up and coming career option for people and Valve is supporting it with all their might.
Well… you can see how much Valve supports our TF2 communities.

Probably the most misleading part of the movie.
yes it is a promotional video but honestly it was still pretty good and inspirational
When I saw it’s about Dota, I didn’t even bother reading the description.
Unless it’s really good, won’t invest my time in it.
It’s better than HL3
great movie even tho i dont like dota
