My answer would be Take The Time by Dream Theater. Last.fm counts over 225 times and that represents only a fraction of my music listening. The only thing wrong with this song is the overprocessed snare sound.

Another one worth mentioning is Прощай, Норфолк! by Ария. The band is relatively unknown outside of the Russian speaking world. The sound is very NWOBHMish but very very cool. Simply gotta love it. Was a dream come true when they visited Finland for the first time last May. And I can hardly understand ten words in their lyrics!

Must be the Third one, I remember grinding antennas on rooftops and causing earthquakes while listening to this.

Please marry me, dude. Favorite song from that album along with The Miracle and The Sleeper. Used to listen to it 24/7, never got tired of it.
I never get tired of this one tbh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaQpC4HuJ5M
great bassline and the drumming is just so fucking groovy. The beat is easy enough to play, but to get it to groove like Purdie really takes something special that not many drummers have.
When I first heard it, I was like “daaamn, I need to know the name of this song immediately!” and it took me way too long to find out. I haven’t liked it any bit less ever since.
I recommend any current (and maybe coming, after hearing that song? :D) Dan-fans to watch the film about the making of Aja. Some hate them and call them bland fake jazz, but I don’t get why. Musicians that really go THAT much into details to get the sound they wish for are rare, and I think its an excellent mix of jazz harmonies that make your ears hungry for more, the mellow soul-choirs and wind instruments that add so much and the traditional rock guitar- and piano solos to make you feel at home.
