U can get Adobe Premiere Essentials for quite less money, and it still does its work quite fine…
Just another general tip when making a movie.
I do it like this:
Record everything you do. When you know you have something good, change game resolution to 16:9 1280*720 and play it back while you have fraps running. When you come to the good part, hide the demo box and record it into .avi with fraps.
you can also export it with the game’s built-in thingy to avi, but I find it easier with fraps.
And there you have you’re raw widescreen HD (1280*720) footage which looks nice on most streaming sites etc, just put it together in a program. (vegas etc)
@wuff
f*ing nice site, god bless you, i never searched for sth like that but now i found it and i really like it.
i wonder if there is sth like that for vegas or premiere too?
ps: i guess tuna is familiar with this side :D
Even with videocopilot (who got excellent tuts) it requires lots of work and time to get into the basics :)
Dont expect awesome results with your first attempts :)
Sorry for stealing the topic a bit but does anyone know how to compress it a lot and still keep the good quality? I read somewhere that JH’s Auto-Aim project was 250GB and he compressed to a couple of hundreds MB and still awesome quality. I’m using Sony Vegas.
Try the H.264 Codec.
i expect nothing so it’s always a win-win situation!
