Not sure if there are any bass players out there, but I’m curious about buying a new bass guitar. Currently, my budget is around ~£300-£400, and I’d be looking for something quite sturdy. Thanks! ^^
If you’re looking for a decent all-rounder, try finding a 2nd hand Warwick. Might have to pay a little more for that though, but you can ask for the serial number from the seller and check it on Warwick’s site.
I can’t comment for how their Rockbass budget ranges are, but I heard the body uses cheaper wood and it’s made in China instead of Germany.

The bassist in my band has some red Yamaha-Bass recommended by his bass teacher, costs around 300-400 euros if im right, sounds like a 1500 €. I can look up the name if you want
I was pretty happy with my old Ibanez BTB, pretty cheap, decent sound and easy to play.

Plenty – I play piano and bass. That’s pretty much it. I mean, I’m probably better than most people on guitar and drums, but I wouldn’t say that I play either

I got a Fender Jaguar Modern Player. It is pretty cheap, looks nice and plays great. It’s a high end China production, but don’t let that scare you, it compares to a Fender Mexican
