LoL + Windows 8

I just reinstalled LoL after a long time. Last time I played I was running Windows 7 or just started using Windows 8. Today I started playing again and my connection kept dropping completely. Windows gave the limited connection bladiblabla thing. After several minutes the connection would came back to life again. When the connection doesn’t drop it is stable without lag spikes or anything. I’m 99,9% sure it is LoL related because of the following reasons:
– Played other games without any issues
– Only happens during LoL
Are there any known issues involving Windows 8 and long connection drops?

If it isn’t happening in other games, I’d say chances are Kuferl is right and you happened to play on a server that was going haywire.
If it was because of the server he was on, explain this:

Don’t have windows 8 so no idea what that is but since it doesn’t happen in other games I assume it is some message windows gives when a connection is suddenly dropped or something (which is caused server side) rather than assume LoL messes with net settings.
Now I’m not to sure it was LoL. I had it happen again right before PCW’s while I was on a server in TF2 and not in LoL. And after that everything was fine again, didn’t even drop in LoL. Must have been a strange coincidence that it started right after I started playing LoL again.
Check your firewall settings blablabla.
Make sure whatever you want definitely has access, if you’re saying it happens when you have LoL and that the network goes haywire, it sounds like a permissions thing.
Try connecting with WiFi and LAN and see if you can recreate it with both.
Forward any necessary ports if there are any you can forward which will help with connectivity.
