Does it save my progress automatically?

Yeh, I told myself after posting that nobody would believe that scenario. Let’s say I have something to do that would require me to shut down my computer. Would it still be there?
Watched this in the morning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIeqMotAHxk . Went to try out the game and now 8 hours later i made billions of cookies with 2.6 million more being made every second.

Yes, but you wont gain any new cookies. You can also Import a save (you get a long password) and then you can export it to continue idling for cookies in another computer. I’m not sure if cleaning your browser with ccleaner (etc.) deletes your progress.
