6th Cup Casts

Any chance Vanilla TF2 is going to stream the 6th cup finals (or has casted previous rounds; couldn’t find any)? I’d love to see those matches
So far, no matches have been casted by VanillaTV, iirc.
They planned to cast one match but that got moved so :/
There is a German cast of that match though.
The one today or is there a recording? Kinda odd that they’re not casting the cup. I’d love to see how the higher divisions play with the new unlocks. Is there just no interest?
There is interest but vanillatv have been very quiet lately about their coverage. Now apparently teams have to request their games be casted which seems completely backward to me.
It makes complete sense actually, given the circumstances. They want to change the meta of teams giving stv info 5 mins before match.
That approach seems pretty nifty, actually. So I’ll just hope some of the teams in the cup finals read this and ask vTV to get their matches casted
It’s not nifty at all, if you can’t manage to get the stv info out of a team 5 mins before the game, why would the same team contact you days in advance? The cup games are already scheduled, VanillaTV should contact the teams they want to cover, it’s not the job of the players to provide coverage to the viewers, though they should be as helpful as possible.
I don’t know, maybe they already did contact teams but this way just seems like a lazy approach.

That is not how I understood it – but it certainly helps, if the teams openly communicate with the VanillaTV staff and approach them about schedule changes etc.
Well I hope VTV get back to the awesome coverage they had before S13.

If you put it like that, yeah, haha.
I was thinking about how salTV casts his matches which are also based on (well, recasts most of time) requests and that proved to be very popular.
Also, does vanillaTV ever cast div 1 matches? I only recall seeing premiership matches.

Sal casts from STV demos most of the time, not live.
That’s what I meant by recasts. Poor wording. Just in terms of knowing what’s going on in the TF2 scene it’d be great to have something casted like that though; and from more divisions than just premiership
