Anyone have seen the new BenQ?
Officially 120Hz for marketing purposes but its capable for 144Hz as shown in the review below.

It is already available and around ~300Euros. (cheaper than XL2420…)

The monitor:

And here the review:

Looks pretty sick.

Wanted to upgrade to a 120hz soon and will probably buy one of these after the holidays. Maybe I will wait for more reviews though.

cheers

Can we see any differences between 120hz and 144hz ?

Probably not. And even when it is slightly noticeable: paying 300 euros for 24 frames more not worth it. :o

You’re right just checked their website and the only difference i could find to the 20t was the “Game Mode Loader”

Yes. But not a LCD probably, the crystals are too slow.

TSUN~

I don’t think buying the first available product of its kind is ever a good idea.

Will I be able to notice a difference from 40hz to 144hz?

Lol or just buy a CRT with 0ms delay and you can actually use non native resolutions without fucking up your delay by another 3or 4ms on top of what it already has :>

Impressive, I’m getting a lower 120hz model shortly.

As far as I know, 144Hz = 72Hz x 2. So a step closer to 120Hz in 3D.
