To The Moon
it’s an indie game by FreeBird Games got released about a year ago but i just found out about it and couldn’t not share it with you (and i’m a bit surprised that nobody has bother to do so) because it’s just awesome. well as a game it’s not really that great because the gameplay is a bit monotonous, but it has something that i love in games above anything else – a great story. during the ~4 hours that it took me to beat the game i’ve undergone such a variety of emotions which i couldn’t even hope to get in such a short time span. i’ve laughed, cried, laughed again, got some food for thought etc… it’s been a long time since i’ve played something so moving as To The Moon. you can ignore the game genres in descriptions because doesn’t really matter. seriously, Heavy Rain sucks balls compared to this! and DAT MUSIC! if you’re considering to buy the game – get the bundle with OST, cuz it’s still quite cheap and you’ll regret that you didn’t get the soundtrack after you finish the game.

so if you’re into great stories and don’t mind minimalistic graphics or simply have some spare money i strongly recommend you check it out.
