Hi I think we need a thread to discuss books
So post the last book you read and post 1 thing about it that pisses you off and 1 thing that’s good about it :)
For me it was The man who was Thursday
– It has interesting characters and is set in Britain which makes it great
– The ending is a poorly explained cluster f*** of 2 deep 4 u language and hints at what could have happened rather than what did happen and the whole thing becomes a rather silly but interesting metaphorical question rather than an answer to the original question proposed during the argument between Symes and the red haired anarchist.
Ok now its your turn ETF2L! :>
tl;dr
reading a book called vehicles.

Its pretty ace, kinda odd concepts with robots and psychology.
Thing that pisses me off is some goes over my head (psychology side).
I would recommend John Dies At The End. One of the best books i’ve ever read.

and the ebook series Yesterday’s Gone.

Im just discussing books man….
If you got a problem with that take it somewhere else please :>
i read the hungry catepillar
good bits was it was not very long and the pages were pretty colourful and had nice pictures
bad bits was the catepillar lacked depth and the author didn’t introduce sufficiently appropriate characterisation to the catepillar

I would recommend John Dies At The End

he kinda dies but kinda doesnt :D you should check it out ;)
I became clearly addicted to Jack Higgins’ books. Literally ate The Eagle Has Landed and The Eagle Has Flown. Reading Sheba at the moment.
Nothing I hate there really, what I love is, I think, the style. Quite easy to read by a not native speaker. Highly recommend.
Another book I would sugest is Down and out in Paris and London
1 good thing
– Great use of emotions and feelings to get the reader in the head of the writer
– One part is set in smelly Paris :>
I finished the Man in the High Castle the other day, it was pretty interesting in that the setting was a tad unusual but the actual story was just about the lives of the characters and how they interact. The ending was very anti-climactic though.
